DALLI-WERKE GmbH & Co. KG appoints new Management Board Spokesman
Stolberg, 24.08.2022. The dalli-group, a major European consumer goods manufacturer focusing on the European trademark and brand business in the household and personal care segments, is reorganizing its management team.
The Advisory Board of DALLI-WERKE GmbH & Co. KG has appointed Maxwell C. Chambers as new Spokesman of the Management Board with effect from October 1, 2022.
Reinhold Schlensok, previous Management Board Spokesman, is handing over responsibility at his own request; he has asked the Advisory Board to end his management activities for health reasons.
Schlensok will move to the Advisory Board from October 1, 2022. In this function, he will continue to accompany the company’s realignment ("Roadmap 2030") which he helped initiate. The "Roadmap 2030" will further strengthen the dalli-group for future challenges with the aim of fully exploiting market and product potential and expanding its position as a major European manufacturer of high-quality trademark and branded products in the home care and personal care sectors.
Both the Advisory Board and Partners expressly thank Mr. Schlensok for his successful commitment to realigning the company in challenging times. "Mr. Schlensok has succeeded in leading the company safely through the recent crisis and realigning it for a successful future in an extremely difficult market environment characterized by the corona pandemic," says Managing Partner Dr. Hermann Wirtz. The new Management Board Spokesman, Maxwell C. Chambers, has many years’ experience in the German and European consumer goods industry in both the brand and trademark sectors. Chambers was most recently Managing Director of Wilkinson Sword GmbH, Solingen, and as Regional Vice President responsible for North-East, North-West and Central Europe. Prior to Wilkinson, Chambers held positions at Reckitt-Benckiser and Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Chambers says he is excited to take on his new role. "I see a solid foundation, a committed team and excellent potential for further successful development at dalli-group," Chambers said.
The Chairman of the Advisory Board, Professor Dr. Wilhelm Moll, states: "We are delighted to have gained such an outstandingly qualified person in Mr. Chambers. Short biographyMaxwell C. Chambers was born on July 21, 1968 in London. As of October 1, 2022, he will be responsible for the Corporate Management Division as Spokesman of the Management Board of dalli-group and will work from the company's headquarters in Stolberg. In addition to the management and supervision of all staff departments, this business division is responsible for all measures and projects that cut across the other business divisions. Career After graduating from high school, Maxwell C. Chambers studied Marketing & German at Lancaster University. He began his professional career at Johnson & Johnson in Germany in 1991. After further positions in the consumer goods and pharmaceutical sector in the UK and Germany, he joined Wilkinson Sword GmbH in Solingen in 2008. After various positions in the company as Sales Director, Business Director Private Brands Group and Managing Director & Commercial Director, he has been responsible for the Northern European market as Regional Vice President since July 2020. |
